Arbutus Piano Studio provides lessons in piano, violin, and music theory. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Amanda is an active musician and teacher in Vancouver. A versatile pianist, she has delighted audiences with her diverse repertoire ranging from Bach to The Beatles to Billy Eilish. Her performances include those for Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival, Fairmont Hotels, and Perugia Orchestra, and she has received awards from Vancouver Westcoast Music Society, BC Bösendorfer Piano Competition, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Canadian Music Competition, Anne Burrows Fund, and the NSAL Scholarship Competition.

Amanda holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from UBC, and certificates from Mozarteum Sommerakademie. An enthusiastic teacher with fifteen years of pedagogical experience, she is RCM-certified for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, and is committed to helping her students reach new horizons on their musical journeys.

- Aria was awarded 2nd place in the Kiwanis Music Festival.
- Carter was awarded gold in the BCCM Summer Music Festival.
